Santa Barbara Vintners ‘Road Trip’ Winemakers Dinner
May 4, 2016 @ 7:00 pm - 11:00 pm
Wednesday, May 4 2016
Living in LA, Santa Barbara is “our” wine region. A mere two hours north of Los Angeles, Santa Barbara wine country is an area with nearly 200 wineries producing world class wines.
Home to the only transverse mountain range in North America, the Santa Barbara County Appellation is made up of diverse regions and six AVAs – Santa Ynez Valley, Santa Maria Valley, Sta Rita Hills, Ballard Canyon, Happy Canyon of Santa Barbara and Los Olivos District. The region is also home to an unrivaled growing season with coastal influences, where pinot noir, chardonnay, syrah, grenache, roussanne, marsanne, viognier, sauvignon blanc, merlot, cabernet franc, cabernet sauvignon and more thrive.
And the Santa Barbara Vintners are taking a road trip to Los Angeles in the month of May for a series of winemaker dinners.
We’re delighted to announce that Cliff’s Edge will play host to a fantastic Mentor/Mentee Dinner, featuring Kathy Joseph (Fiddlehead Cellars) and John Dragonette (Dragonette Cellars), who’ll be pouring some of their incredible wines, paired with a 4 course menu from our executive chef Gavin Humes.
